Step 1 - Before visa application

Before you decide on applying for a 407 visa, you will have to ensure that your sponsoring organization is an approved sponsor.

Recheck if your sponsoring organization has submitted the application for nomination.

Step 2 - Gathering the documentation

It is important that you provide accurate information about yourself supported by all the necessary evidence and proofs.

These documents will include:

• Identity proofs- these documents will include your passport, birth certificate, a national identity card, a proof of change of name in case applicable etc.
• Proof of your sponsor, nomination or a government invitation.
• Financial support documents – you will need to establish financial capacity to support yourself and your family while you are in the country. These documents will include bank statements, a letter from Financial Institutions, employment contract, documents that show allowances and stipends from the sponsor while you are in the country.
