As a beauty therapist, you will be responsible for understanding clients needs and working accordingly. Their work involves different facials, makeup artistry, eyebrows, lashes, waxing, electrotherapy, non-surgical skin improvement, tanning, and many more. Sometimes you also need to be careful with clients skin concerns and can suggest a good dermatologist to them.
If you have good sales skills, you can sell products according to your clients skin type. You can make good money by doing this. As a Beauty therapist, you can earn a commission on any products purchased by your customers, which will be a big bonus. You will also be responsible for inventory management, you will have to check if any products are running out and restock them. You will attend calls of clients and welcome them to your salon. You will also be handling online bookings, taking notes of your client's medical history and the treatment program you have already given to them. As a beauty therapist, your main goal is to attract new clients so that you can advertise your services on social media and generate sales.
