A Horse Breeder is a professional who takes care of breeding, keeping and training horses to be used in racing, sport work or recreational riding. They are supposed to choose the best stations and mares, design breeding programs, as well as to be sure of the health and performance potential of every foal. Horse Breeders cooperate with veterinarians, trainers and farm employees to have good bloodlines and raise healthy and well-bred horses. They also make sure that they adhere to animal welfare standards and provide a safe environment for all horses.
